Job Summary
Crescendo Coffee & Café is hiring a Food & Beverage Manager to oversee daily café food and beverage operations while maintaining high standards of quality, customer service, and team performance. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily food and beverage operations within the café
- Supervise, train, coach, and support café and service team members
- Coordinate staff assignments and workflow during busy service periods
- Ensure coffee, beverages, and food items meet established quality standards
- Monitor customer service and address guest questions, concerns, and service issues
- Coordinate food preparation, beverage service, order fulfillment, and front-of-house activities
- Monitor inventory levels for coffee, food ingredients, beverages, packaging, and supplies
- Assist with purchasing, receiving, storage, and organization of food and beverage products
- Manage POS, payment, and cash-handling procedures according to company standards
- Monitor sales, service efficiency, product usage, and operational performance
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary café, kitchen, and service areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, cash-handling, and workplace safety procedures
- Assist with scheduling, employee onboarding, coaching, and performance development
- Support opening, closing, and general café management responsibilities
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or business education is a plus
- Previous café, coffee shop, restaurant, food service, or hospitality experience preferred
- Previous supervisory or management experience is an asset
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer, POS, inventory, and reporting skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
