What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Specialist position at Creekstone Farms Premium Beef?
JOB SUMMARY:
The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for transferring, pulling, stocking and rotating product for various departments. They will be responsible for being an example to other Team Members using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a “Creekstone Proud” culture through attitude and actions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Scan & relocate batches of product for Value Added, E-Com, and Americold returns
- Transfer ager list from Warehouse 1 to Warehouse 3 for local cash or kitchen orders
- Pull back product for fabrication, offal and ground beef for rework
- Stock booking product for Walmart, E-Com/Value Added, Ground Beef and Shipping
- Scanning and taking inedible combos to Bone Grind or Darling trailers
- Moving GB product to E-Rack and the DC
- Moving bad wood pallets to trailers
- Taking combos to Ground Beef
- Move product correctly to all 5 systematic warehouses
- Notify supervisor of any maintenance, and or product issues throughout shift
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, and safe work environment in the area
- Assist the shipping department as needed
- All other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Fork Lift experience required
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to foster an atmosphere of teamwork and respect
- Functional with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Basic math skills are necessary
- Clear communication skills – verbally and in written form
- Ability to take direction humbly and collaborate in order to define and pursue team goals
- A positive outlook and attitude in taking initiative and problem solving
