CreekStone Academy in Madison, Alabama is adding Infant and Toddler Teachers to the team. As a Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early learning experiences of our youngest students, ensuring they are well-prepared for their educational journey ahead.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and games that promote literacy education, math skills, and physical education.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing positive behavior management strategies.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support child welfare and development.
- Facilitate activities that promote childhood development through play-based learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with families.
Skills
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
- Proficiency in literacy education and math instruction tailored for preschool-aged children.
- Excellent behavior management skills to create a positive classroom atmosphere.

* Preferred 2 years minimum experience in a preschool center.
* Must be at least 19 years of age.
* Must be able to play on the ground or floor with the children.
* Valid Driver's License preferred.
