We are seeking a dedicated and skilled dietary aide/dishwasher to join our culinary team. As a aide/dishwasher , you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, assisting in the preparation of high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment ensuring all dishes are cleaned properly. Your attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen staff will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for various dishes, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Assist in ensuring all dishes are washed and stored properly
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other food preparation tools.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements when necessary.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages.
