The Opportunity: Vice President, Chief Lending Officer
Reporting directly to the President/CEO, the CLO serves as both architect and ambassador of our lending strategy — and a key driver of enterprise-wide growth.

What You’ll Lead
As our next CLO, you will:
Shape Vision & Strategy
Formalize and activate the credit union’s strategic plan across consumer lending, real estate lending — driving innovation, continuous improvement, and organizational alignment.
Drive Performance & Financial Stability
Advance enterprise lending growth, service excellence, risk management health. Ensure pricing models, lending practices, and operational controls support both financial strength and an exceptional member experience.
Build Leaders & Culture
Model servant leadership. Develop talent. Inspire teams to consistently perform at their highest level. Help us continue our journey to be an employer of choice.
Represent CU West Externally
Be a visible ambassador in the community, with business partners, and in support of the CEO and Board’s strategic vision.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA preferred
- 10 years progressive senior leadership in lending operations
- Mastery in loan pricing, credit risk, underwriting, and analytics
- Proven track record transforming lending environments through strategy, innovation, and people leadership
- Exceptional interpersonal influence, decision-making, and communication
- Experience leading through change and building cohesive cross-functional alliances
