Summary Of Essential Job Functions
- Manage the end-to-end testing process from test ideation, scheduling, ensuring accurate tracking, test QA, and post-launch monitoring to drive the maximum return on investment.
- Identify key testing areas, formulate hypotheses, and design experiments to validate improvements.
- Define and validate test parameters, target audience, and success metrics based on business objectives.
- Monitor live tests to ensure they are running smoothly and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the test period.
- Collect and analyze data from multiple sources, including web analytics tools, A/B testing platforms, and internal data for in-depth statistical analysis of test results to determine the significance and impact of tested changes.
- Generate detailed wrap reports that include key findings, performance metrics, and recommendations for future actions.
- Present test results and insights to stakeholders, highlighting the implications for business strategy and decision-making.
- Recommend actionable next steps based on test findings, such as implementing successful variations or iterating on unsuccessful tests.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Marketing, UX/design, or other relevant degree
- 5 years of experience in site optimization, A/B testing, and data analysis.
- Experience with optimization tools (e.g., Adobe Target, Optimizely)
- Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
- Strong statistical background, with proficiency using statistical methods to analyze data (sampling, variance, statistical significance, confidence intervals, regression, margin of errors, wins within confidence levels, etc.)
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for basic troubleshooting and understanding test implementations.
- Experience managing people and multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate and execute complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
