This individual will also be responsible for managing the knowledge base and the intake process. Summary Of Essential Job Functions
- Working with subject matter experts, leaders, and end-users, document processes and procedures for use by T&F staff that are accurate, concise, and consistent with the style guide.
- Manage the intake lifecycle for documentation requests from beginning to end. This includes completing needs analysis with stakeholders, facilitating side-by-side demonstrations or other meetings, documenting information, and obtaining approvals.
- Maintain accurate records of the intake lifecycle and version control for all documentation.
- Create and deliver communication to audiences at varying organizational levels and of varying size, such as memos or summaries.
- Compile, analyze, and deliver reporting on KPIs to leadership.
- Summarize and present procedure and process updates to a Change Control audience of leaders.
- Display excellent organizational skills; be able to manage shifting priorities and perform administrative tasks related to the position (e.g., updating records, coordinating meetings, creating agendas, etc.).
- Manage the department’s intake process.
- Occasionally deliver updates and changes to a larger audience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in technical writing, English, communication (or similar discipline) and/or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in documenting processes and procedures for complex and/or technical processes.
- Strong technical writing skills, adaptable writing style, and familiarity working with style guides and templates.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Word, and above-average end-user computer skills.
- Prior experience with a Knowledge Management lifecycle and progressing documents through that lifecycle.
- Experience managing side-by-side or remote process demonstrations; comfortable recording processes and guiding SMEs to provide necessary details.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience with working with multiple stakeholders and managing multiple simultaneous projects with deadlines.
- Experience guiding junior technical writers, interns, or other staff in processes and technical skills.
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision.
- 7 years of experience in documenting processes and procedures for complex and/or technical processes.
- Experience in the financial industry with an understanding of applicable regulations.
- Familiarity with SharePoint as a knowledge base.
- Knowledge base management experience.
- Intermediate-advanced user of other Microsoft Suite applications, such as Excel and Access.
- Experience with data analytics, such as compiling and analyzing data from multiple sources.
- Facilitation: confidence in leading and guiding meetings and discussions around processes.
