Patient Account Specialist

Location: Grand Island, NE
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | No Evening Shifts.
Pay: Up to $20/hour, based on experience commissions

We are looking for a Patient Account Specialist to join our growing team in Grand Island. If you enjoy helping people, solving problems, and communicating with others, this could be an opportunity to turn your customer service skills into a career.

What You’ll Do

As a Patient Account Specialist, you’ll:

• Talk with patients about their account balances and answer questions
• Explain insurance payments and patient responsibility in an easy-to-understand way
• Help patients identify payment and account resolution options
• Set up payment arrangements
• Research account information and help resolve billing questions
• Keep accurate account notes and records
• Work with your team to find solutions and provide a positive patient experience

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Customer service experience is preferred. Experience in medical billing, patient accounts, healthcare, insurance, or a call center is a plus — but not required.

Spanish bilingual skills are preferred but not required.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position in Grand Island, Nebraska. You'll work in a professional office environment using a computer and phone system while reviewing electronic account information and assisting patients throughout the day.
