What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ambulance Medical Billing position at Credit Bureau Systems, Inc.?
AMB is looking to fill several positions within the company. We are a family owned business that provides insurance and patient billing for Ambulance Services across the U.S. We are looking for experienced medical billers, payment posters, & other positions related to medical billing. We are also willing to provide on the job training for those who are willing to work, have a good work ethic, are self motivated, and dependable. The pay will be based on experience within the field. We have a team of managers, that are supportive of their staff, and great to work with. Some position do have limited overtime depending on the work load. We are a growing company that would love to have staff that can grow and advance as the company does.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in medical billing or related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in ICD-10, ICD-9, and DRG coding systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes
- Excellent communication skills to interact with healthcare providers and insurance companies
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
