What are the responsibilities and job description for the Art Teacher position at Creativities Studio?
We are currently seeking an art teacher to teach in New Providence, NJ starting on 9/17.
When: Thursdays 2:45 - 3:45 PM 9/17 - 11/19
Must be available to teach on Thursday afternoons.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct art classes for children ages 5-10 in a private school in New Providence, NJ
- Ability to communicate with a diverse group of teachers and students.
- Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
- Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide a fun and creative environment.
Requirements:
- Must be able to commit from late August - June
- Must be comfortable instructing 5-10 children and completing one art project per class
Qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience required.
- Interest / experience in art or passion for art!
- Excellent communication skills.
- Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable.
- Demonstrate patience and leadership skills.
- Professional and comfortable teaching in a private school setting.
Compensation & Benefits:
- High hourly compensation
- Potential to earn four yearly bonuses
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
