What are the responsibilities and job description for the Art / STEM Teacher position at Creativities Studio?
We are currently seeking a STEM instructor on Wednesdays 3:45 - 4:45 PM at a private school in New Orleans, LA starting September 2nd.
Location: New Orleans, LA
Responsibilities:
- Instruct STEM classes for children ages 5-10 in New Orleans, LA
- Ability to communicate with a diverse group of teachers and students.
- Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals.
- Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide a fun and creative environment.
Requirements:
- Must be able to commit for a 6 month period.
- Must be comfortable instructing 8-10 children and completing one STEM experiment per class
Qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience required.
- Interest / experience in art and/or STEM
- Excellent communication skills.
- Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable.
- Demonstrate patience and leadership skills.
- Professional and comfortable teaching in a private school setting.
Compensation & Benefits:
- High hourly compensation
- Potential to earn three yearly bonuses
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
