Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various landscaping tasks to maintain the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces. The Landscape Laborer will work under the supervision of experienced landscapers and contribute to creating and maintaining aesthetically pleasing landscapes.
Duties:
- Perform groundskeeping duties such as mowing, edging, weeding, and planting
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for landscaping tasks
- Assist in landscape maintenance activities including but not limited to: mowing, pruning, mulching, and fertilizing
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair landscape equipment
- Support hardscape projects by helping to build walls, paths, and other structures
- Assist in irrigating landscapes to ensure proper hydration for plants
- Contribute to tree care by planting, pruning, and removing trees as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscaping roles
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and best practices is preferred but not required, willing to train
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
