What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hardware Operator position at Creative Staffing Inc.?
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Reviews all orders that need to ship with the Shipping Planning Lead for the current day and future. Identifies any orders with future shipment promise dates that can ship early when the staff has the capacity to package and the customer will accept early. This requires, at minimum, planning the work for the day and the next day.
2. Communicates with Hardware Lead, Shipping Office and other Production departments when exceptions occur. Examples of exceptions: product questionable for shipment due to flaws, incorrect sizes, incorrect colors, incorrect quantities, not enough product in stock. Confirms ready and pickup times with Hardware Lead and other affected Leads.
3. Moves completed product to various departments using a manual cart throughout the day.
4. Checks that the Hardware Room has enough packaging supplies for the current and near future orders on schedule. If not, provides quantities needed for ordering to the Hardware Lead.
5. Ensures and checks that every processed order has a fully completed pick list, clear and complete number of photographs per order and are checked/audited by the Hardware Lead.
6. Properly packages components needed for kitting parts including proper and safe packaging.
7. Works together with Hardware Lead to ensure that departmental inventory is properly stocked and counted when accepted from Receiving, returned in house from Door Assembly, or customer returns that are approved for return to stock. 8. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
