Lead Carpenter

Creative Remodeling Services of WNY provides kitchens, baths, additions and other residential remodeling services based out of Orchard Park, NY. Our goal is to turn our Clients’ current home into their dream home. Providing our Clients with quality materials and top craftsmanship.

Currently experiencing vast growth in our business – we have immediate openings for experienced lead carpenters. We offer top pay in our industry for experience. Applicants are required to have a minimum of 5 years verifiable experience in the construction field.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Being the lead installer for residential renovation jobs

- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and home owners (Clients)

- Ability to perform full renovation jobs by having the following experience of no less than 5 years experience with: cabinet installation, finish trim work, windows, doors and detailed demo, helpful knowledge of minor plumbing, minor electrical, drywall (but not required)

- Knowledge of residential building codes

- Must be pro-active in unforeseen situations that may arise. Including asking for advice from CRS experienced carpenter management

- Ensure job sites are kept clean – we are in the homes our Clients live in daily

- Strong knowledge of job site safety

- Ability to lift a minimum of 70lbs, ability to work off an (8’) step ladder

- Ability to read construction documents: ie ~ plans, specifications, permits etc.

- Update job related paperwork and timelines daily. Present paperwork to Clients throughout the progress of a job and communicate effectively with management on any changes that may arise

- Experience with hand tools and other equipment

- Must be an active listener, easily follow verbal / written instructions and have a high standard of integrity and professionalism along with being detail oriented and produce quality workmanship

- Must have own transportation, valid NYS driver’s license and hand tools

We offer stable full-time work year-round for our employees. Typical work week is Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. NOTE: At times you may be working till up to 5:30pm, depending on tasks at hand. Multiple work locations, mainly South towns area of WNY. Generally withing a (10) mile radius of our office.
