You will engage in comprehensive patient assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver a variety of therapeutic interventions designed to promote mental wellness and behavioral health.   • Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately document patient conditions.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health episodes effectively and ensure patient safety.
  • Deliver specialized counseling services including addiction counseling, grief counseling, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
  • Maintain detailed medical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations while ensuring accurate medical records and progress notes are up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on case management, treatment planning, and behavioral health strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions, expanding access to care for clients in various settings.
  • Engage in clinical research activities when applicable, contributing to the advancement of mental health practices and evidence-based treatments.

  • Master’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure or certification OR provisional as required by state law (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCSWA, LCASA).
  • Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, or behavioral therapy.
  • Demonstrated expertise in crisis management and crisis intervention protocols.
  • Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for diagnostic purposes and medical terminology relevant to behavioral health.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Strong skills in medical documentation, patient assessment, and case management within outpatient or inpatient settings.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards and confidentiality regulations related to medical records.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams utilizing telehealth technology when needed.
