JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ~
Quality Inspection & Verification
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure products meet specifications.
- Use monitoring and measuring equipment, gauges, and inspection tools to perform sampling, testing, and reporting.
- Verify material certifications and calibration standards.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001-2015 documentation, revision control, and verification processes.
Corrective & Preventative Action
- Take action regarding corrective and preventative measures for customer satisfaction, including RMA (Return Material Authorization) and non-conformance reports.
- Collaborate with the Production Team and Quality Manager to identify opportunities to reduce scrap, rework, and customer returns.
- Promote and enforce a culture of quality throughout all operations.
Process Improvement & Continuous Learning
- Develop and track leading indicator metrics to improve company performance.
- Identify and implement improvements in inspection and quality control processes.
- Support ongoing training and development in quality standards and practices.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work effectively with production and engineering teams to ensure quality goals are met.
- Communicate clearly with internal teams and customers regarding quality issues and requirements.
- Document findings and maintain accurate records of inspections and corrective actions
HOURS~
- 4 10's Production Schedule
- Mon-Thursday 3:45pm-2:15am
- Training for this role would be conducted during 1st shift hours.
QUALIFICATIONS~
- Associate degree in a related field or equivalent amount of experience.
- PPAP knowledge is a substantial plus.
- Knowledge of welding processes and fundamentals is a substantial plus.
- Experience or interest in using CMM machines (Romer, Faro, etc.), with programming experience a plus.
- Understanding of metal fabrication processes including lasers, CNC turret punches, press brakes, welding, sawing, and milling operations.
- Experience in an ISO 9001-2015 environment preferred.
- Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and customer service-focused mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
