Turret Operator - (2nd Shift)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES~

Machine Setup & Operation

• Set up and operate turret punch press machines, including Amada Vipros turrets
• Adjust machine settings to meet production specifications and material requirements
• Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments as needed

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and tool changes
• Troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues to minimize downtime
• Ensure tools and equipment are in optimal working condition

Blueprint Interpretation & Quality Control

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Verify measurements and ensure parts meet quality standards and tolerances
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout production

Production & Workflow Management

• Work independently while managing changing priorities and deadlines
• Support efficient workflow and contribute to meeting production targets
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency

Team Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments
• Communicate production updates, challenges, and solutions effectively
• Foster a positive and productive team environment

Compliance & Standards

• Follow all safety protocols and company policies
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives

HOURS~

• 4 10's Production Schedule
• Mon-Thursday 3:45pm-2:15am (Occasional OT on Fridays)

QUALIFICATIONS~

• 2 years of experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and initiative

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
