Quotations Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quotations Specialist to join our growing team. This position plays a critical role in supporting our sales team and customers by preparing accurate and timely lighting quotations for commercial projects.
The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday ½ day every Friday!!!
What You’ll Do
- Prepare project quotations for commercial lighting and controls packages
- Review project plans, specifications, and fixture schedules
- Coordinate pricing with manufacturers and vendor partners
- Work closely with outside sales representatives, project managers, and customers
- Ensure quotes are accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule
- Maintain organized project files and quotation records
- Assist with revisions, value engineering, and alternate product solutions
- Follow up on outstanding quotations and customer requests
What We’re Looking For
- Previous Quotations experience required.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in lighting, electrical distribution, construction, or related industries preferred
- Knowledge of commercial lighting fixtures and controls is a plus
- Experience with quotation software or project management systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
