Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Director to lead our educational programs and oversee the daily operations of our child care facility. Duties
- Develop and implement educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children.
- Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements for child care facilities.
- Manage daily operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Foster positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and community partners to enhance program visibility and engagement.
- Monitor student progress and conduct regular assessments to ensure educational goals are met.
- Organize events and activities that promote family involvement in the child care program.
Experience
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development Associate OR 5 plus years working in childcare.
- Proven experience in education administration or leadership roles within child care settings.
- University experience is advantageous, particularly in developing curriculum or managing educational programs.
- Strong background in teaching with hands-on experience working with students of various age groups.
