What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Maintenance Worker position at Creative Gardens, Inc?
A landscape maintenance worker is responsible for the upkeep and beautification of outdoor spaces. They handle lawn mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, and seasonal cleanups to ensure our clients' properties remain healthy and visually appealing to our company standards.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lawn Care: Mow and edge lawns to maintain clean turf.
- Plant Maintenance: Trimming and pruning of shrubbery, weed and mulch (when required) landscape beds, deadheading and/or water plants.
- Seasonal/Site Cleanups: Rake leaves, remove debris, blow or hose down driveways and walkways, plus collect all yard waste for removal.
- Equipment Operation: Safely use and maintain all tools and equipment, like mowers, leaf blowers, trimmers, and edgers.
- Site Performance: Being detailed oriented following our standard for work performed and ensure job sites are left clean per our clients' expectations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor, lift at least 50 lbs, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Team Player: Communicates and cooperates with crew lead, takes direction well, meaning, willing to listen, learn and apply the directions given.
- Equipment Knowledge: Experience operating standard landscaping machinery and proficiency with hand tools.
- Horticultural Awareness: Basic understanding of plants and soil.
- Reliable: Consistent attendance, clocking-in on time daily and a strong work ethic.
- Driver’s License: A clean driving record is often required to operate company vehicles and tow trailers.
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
