Responsibilities and Duties of the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager:
- Provide financial and operational information, expertise and insights to business partners and management including develop, monitor and report on annual budgets, targets and other key performance indicators.
- Prepare financial forecasts for short- and long-term planning and align strategic financial metrics across all departments to drive results
- Support the Decision Support Director in consolidating and aligning planning model outputs and developing stakeholder communications and presentations for short- and long-term plans, annual budgets, and forecasts
- Lead the analytical engine of the Operations and Finance organization by providing analysis, interpretation of results, and reporting to communicate on performance and support executive decision making
- Extract insights based on strategic objectives
- Identity key business drivers and relevant metrics for performance
- Proactively monitor performance to identify opportunities and anomalies
- Manage staff including hiring, training, and coaching
Experience Preferred of the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or MBA-Finance required
- 7 years’ experience building financial models, forecasts, and operational reports for a multiple location organization.
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to present complex information
- High proficiency in budgeting, forecasting financial modeling and financial analysis
