AP Accountant
The AP Accountant is part of our Accounting/Finance department and will report to the CFO and Assistant Controller. You will perform day-to-day tasks including, but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Sales Audit.

- As our AP Accountant you will be located at our office location in Avon (Eagle Vail), CO.
General Duties of the AP Accountant are:
- Review and code 400-500 invoices monthly.
- Prepare weekly check runs.
- Assist with daily sales audit responsibilities to ensure all sales and deposits are accurate and complete.
- Preparing various accounts payable entries, assisting with other general ledger entries as needed.
- Creating new vendor records using GP Dynamics.
- Reconciling Customer/Vendor Accounts to the Balance Sheet.
- Responding promptly to inquiries from customers, vendors, and internal departments.
- Regularly reviewing accounts payable and receivables aging report, resolving issues as needed.
- Assisting with supporting documents for the annual audit.
- Performing annual 1099 preparation.
- Maintain procedure documentation, and review processes to identify areas of improvement.
- Maintain sales audit files.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and processes are established for smooth operation of the day-to-day business.
- Other duties as assigned.
What the AP Accountant will need to be a great candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or relevant experience.
- 2-4 years progressive accounting experience or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with GP Dynamics or other accounting software.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in the Retail sector preferred.
- Experience in Food and Beverage a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This role is 100% Onsite in Vail, Colorado

Salary Range is: $60,000 - $72,000 salary.
