- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, general ledger, and budgets
- Review and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and maintain balance sheet schedules
- Reconcile and validate entries to balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Assist in managing working capital, including weekly project cash reports and recording transfers/wires
- Assemble, submit, and track equity funding or loan draws
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and project-level financial reporting
- Assist in developing accounting procedures and strategies to improve record-keeping and reporting
- Complete forecasting and analysis to ensure accuracy of job cost reports
- Collaborate with development directors on project budget management
- Support Controller with audits, compliance, and team leadership initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA preferred but not required
- 4 years of accounting experience, including general ledger and reporting work
- Experience with Sage or similar ERP/accounting software
- Construction industry experience is a plus
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
