Summary

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our dynamic team at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality grilled dishes that delight our guests while contributing to a fun and innovative dining atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal service and ensure timely delivery.
• Assist in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and popular dishes.
• Monitor inventory levels of grilling ingredients and communicate needs to management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Grill Cook or similar role in the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent culinary skills with attention to detail in presentation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
