Role Overview: Dishwasher members work to ensure the facility is clean, sanitary, safe and suitable for food preparation and the customer experience. Utility staff help ensure equipment, tables, chairs, floors, trash bins, loading areas, and food storage areas are clean, in good working condition, and are regularly attended to.
Core Responsibilities:
- Hospitality Support:Interacts with guests and customers at events with professionalism, service, and grace, upholding the customer service expectations of CDS and the client/account.
- Kitchen Support: Sets up food service, kitchen, or salad area facilities,equipmentand utensils, under detailed instruction,in accordance withspecific area needs; checks food temperatures and/or prepares areas for daily operations; mayoperatecooking or bakery equipment as assigned.
- Maintain Cleanliness:May clean andmaintainwork areas, including floors, facilities, dishes, utensils, and equipment; collects and places garbage and trash in designated containers; asappropriate tothe area of operation.Washespots, pans, and other service ware ensuring sanitary handling; organizes and replaces service ware toappropriate locations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of Culinary/ Hospitality Experience
Work Schedule:
- Shift:1st– 3rdShift Periods [Weekday – Weekend Shifts Available]
- Hours:10-20 Weekly Hours
- Anticipated Annual Operating Schedule: 30 Weeks. College semesters; August – December; January – May)
- Pay Range: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
