We are looking for a skilled CNC Technician who takes pride in their work and thrives in a hands‑on, detail‑oriented environment.
Position Overview
The CNC Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting CNC saws and routers used in stone fabrication. This role ensures accurate cuts, clean edges, and high‑quality finished products while maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC saws/routers to cut, polish, and shape granite, quartz, and other stone materials
- Load and secure slabs, verify measurements, and ensure proper machine setup
- Read and interpret job tickets, digital templates, and fabrication drawings
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of CNC equipment
- Inspect finished pieces for accuracy, quality, and craftsmanship
- Communicate with shop leadership regarding machine issues, production delays, or material concerns
- Assist with shop workflow, including hand fabrication, polishing, and material handling when needed
- Follow all safety protocols, including PPE usage and equipment lockout procedures
Qualifications
- Experience operating CNC machinery (stone fabrication experience preferred but not required)
- Ability to read measurements, fabrication drawings, and digital layouts
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical shop environment
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift experience a plus
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and equipment

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
