Creative Counseling Services is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) charitable agency dedicated to making mental health care accessible to everyone in our community. Through our Gap to Growth program, we serve primarily Medicaid clients and partner with interns and practicum students to provide free services to people who might otherwise go without help — or wait far too long to get it. What You'll Do
- Provide outpatient mental health counseling to a diverse client population, primarily Medicaid-insured individuals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with our team to support clients and reduce barriers to care, while also being a support for practicum and internship students.
- Opportunity to grow into a leadership and/or supervisory role overseeing interns and practicum students
What We're Looking For
- Independent licensure required: LMHC, LMFT, or LISW. (No temporary or provisional licenses.)
- Commitment to serving underserved and Medicaid populations
- Strong clinical, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Interest in mentorship and supervision is a plus
Schedule & Setting
- Onsite position in Ames, IA, with the flexibility to coordinate occasional virtual/work-from-home days as needed
- One late day per week (until at least 6:00 PM); standard hours otherwise
- No on-call. No in-home services. No travel.

Pay: $62,814.61 - $75,647.70 per year
