What are the responsibilities and job description for the Video Editor position at Creative Circle?
Our retail client is seeking a Video Editor who will be responsible for editing and optimizing video content that supports marketing, brand and social media initiatives. This role is an integral role on the Creative Team and will occasionally work with production partners to create compelling content across multiple channels.
This is a 40-hour a week, hybrid role onsite 2 days a week through the end of the year.
The ideal candidate is an experienced storyteller with strong post-production skills who can efficiently leverage AI-powered tools to enhance content creation and increase production scalability while maintaining brand standards.
Responsibilities:
- Edit high-quality video content for social media, digital marketing, paid media, ecommerce, membership campaigns, internal communications, and brand initiatives.
- Transform long-form content into multiple deliverables, including 15-second, 30-second, 60-second, and platform-specific formats.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to improve efficiency in editing, captioning, transcription, content repurposing, audio enhancement, visual cleanup, etc.
- Identify opportunities to utilize emerging AI technologies while maintaining creative quality, brand consistency, and content accuracy.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Maintain organized project files, version control, and digital asset libraries.
- Continually explore new creative trends, editing techniques, platform best practices, and AI innovations that can improve content performance.
Qualifications:
- 4 years of professional video editing experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (and the AI technology within them)
- Experience creating content for social media and digital marketing channels.
- Experience utilizing AI-powered creative tools and workflows.
- Strong storytelling, pacing, and visual communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
