Social Media Specialist
Location: REMOTE!
Duration: 3 months

Rate Range: $35-$40 per hour

Position Overview
Our client, a NYC-based non-profit, is seeking a creative and driven Social Media Specialist to join their marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing their social media strategy for a specific initiative to enhance their digital presence and brand awareness. This role requires a strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and audience engagement, specifically on Instagram and TikTok.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare content strategy and content calendars for the channel on both Instagram (IG) and TikTok.
- Create dynamic content for the channels (graphics, videos, GIFs, etc.) and post them to their channels.
- Experiment, test, and learn - providing analytics of results.
- Utilize expertise in social media tools such as Descript, Canva, Adobe products (e.g., Premiere), AI generation tools, and editing.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role with a portfolio to showcase creative content.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram and TikTok.
- Excellent content creation skills, with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret social media metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
