Senior Associate Brand Manager (CPG)

Our client, a leading consumer brand in the pet care space, is looking for a Senior Associate Brand Manager to join their team full-time.

This role reports to the Director and is based in Burlington, MA, with an onsite schedule of 4 days per week and remote Fridays. Candidates must live within commuting distance or be willing to relocate (relocation package is provided).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop a deep understanding of the consumer, category, brand, and product portfolio.
- Analyze multiple data sources to track brand performance and category trends and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Use consumer insights, data, and market observations to identify new growth opportunities within the dog food category.
- Help develop a consumer insight-driven innovation pipeline.
- Lead cross-functional teams and projects through new product launches and go-to-market execution.
- Support annual brand planning, including marketing campaigns, new product launches, promotions, merchandising, and distribution opportunities.
- Leverage consumer, category, and competitive insights to drive continued brand and portfolio growth.
- Contribute to broader brand management and business growth initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum 2 years of post-MBA CPG Brand Management experience OR 3 years of CPG Brand Management experience without an MBA.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset.
- Proficiency with Nielsen or IRI.
- Experience analyzing consumer, category, and brand performance data.
- Strong creative eye with experience in packaging and marketing asset development.
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience supporting new product launches and go-to-market strategies.
- Consumer-first mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
- Positive, pragmatic approach to challenges and opportunities.
