What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front End Developer position at Creative Circle?
Our Fortune 500 beverage client is looking for a Front End Developer to join their digital commerce team. You'll work on a proof of concept innovation project and collaborate closely with the D2C/B2B team every day. The role is 40 hours/week, starting early-to-mid October through end of year. We're looking for an FED who thrives at explaining their tech to non-tech stakeholders. If the project does well, there is potential to extend into next year.
This role is REMOTE. You must work Eastern Time zone hours and be available for a team meeting at 10am ET every week day.

Requirements
- Modern JavaScript, i.e., React, Vue, Angular (React/Next.js is a PLUS)
- Strong HTML/CSS and responsive design; ability to handle code accessible, mobile-first interfaces and master modern CSS
- Design Systems: experience building or extending modular components, component libraries, style guides, design systems
- Performance Optimization: Lazy loading, code splitting, accessibility audits, Lighthouse scores, core web vitals
- Cross-Platform & Device testing: proficiency debugging across browsers and devices
- APIs and Integration: Ability to connect front-end to REST/GraphQL APIs and handle data/state management (Redux, Zustand, SWR)
- Experience collaborating closely with Designers; working directly with UX/UI teams, creative agencies or motion designers
- Interactive experiences: GitHub projects showing motion design, micro-interactions, scroll based storytelling, 3D (three.js), AR/VR or WebGL
- Brand-aligned digital campaigns work: built campaign sites, interactive landing pages, digital activations for high-profile brands
- Rapid prototyping and experimentation: familiarity with tools like Figma/Framer, or ability to spin up prototypes quickly
- Ecomm sites: Digital presence that blends commerce brand; ecommerce front ends or large traffic sites
- Awards like FWA, Awwwards, CSS Design Awards
- Evidence of usability testing, A/B testing, track analytics to improve experiences
- Can explain their creative/technical process to non-technical stakeholders
- Mentions side projects, learning new frameworks or hackathons
- Worked with marketing and technology , can empathize with both groups
