Event Photographer

Event Photographer (Contract) Our client is seeking two professional Event Photographers to capture special public events at transportation facilities in North Carolina. This assignment requires an experienced photographer who can document speakers, guests, ceremonial activities, and the overall atmosphere while delivering high-quality edited images on an accelerated timeline. The ideal candidate is skilled at capturing compelling event imagery suitable for media, public relations, and marketing use. The need is for one photographer for the Hamlet, NC event and another in Rocky Mount, NC for the other event.  Duration: One-day event assignment plus post-production editing Expected Hours:  6 total hours, including onsite photography and editing Location: Onsite in Hamlet, North Carolina Tuesday, October 6th and Rocky Mount, North Carolina on Wednesday, October 7th Schedule: Arrival required no later than 9:30 AM Work Arrangement: Freelance / contract Travel: Must be able to travel to the event location Deliverables: Approximately 10 edited highlight images delivered the same day; remaining edited images delivered by the next business day  Required Qualifications

• Professional experience in event photography
• Strong portfolio demonstrating event, corporate, community, media, or public affairs photography
• Ability to capture both candid and staged moments in a fast-paced environment
• Experience photographing speakers, special guests, and ceremonial events
• Proficiency in photo editing and post-production workflows
• Ability to meet same-day and next-business-day delivery deadlines
• Access to professional photography equipment and backup gear
• Strong attention to detail, composition, lighting, and storytelling
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

 Key Responsibilities 

• Photograph key event activities, speakers, guests, and notable moments
• Capture high-impact images suitable for media, marketing, and public relations use
• Document the overall atmosphere and attendee engagement throughout the event
• Produce a collection of professionally edited highlight images for same-day delivery
• Edit and deliver remaining event photographs by the next business day
• Ensure image quality, consistency, and adherence to project requirements
• Manage photography equipment and technical needs during the assignment
• Work professionally with event staff, attendees, and stakeholders while onsite

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
