Our client, an event and experiential marketing agency, is looking for a full time Director of Content to join their team as soon as identified.
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to work onsite 5 days a week in Norwood, Massachusetts.
As the Director of Content, you will be leading the content planning and the development of messaging across the agency's pharmaceutical and healthcare portfolio. Sitting within the Solutions team, the Director of Content will bring 10 years of pharma or healthcare marketing experience and will have a strong foundation as a copywriter in a medical, healthcare, or pharmaceutical setting.
Partnering closely with Creative, Strategy, Digital, and Account teams, the Director of Content will develop messaging frameworks, content ecosystems, and omnichannel strategies that connect business goals, audience insights, and regulatory requirements. The Director of Content will have the ability to translate complex patient, HCP, caregiver, access, and support program needs into clear, compelling, and compliant content experiences.
The Director of Content will be responsible for:
- developing messaging platforms, content strategies, and content frameworks for pharmaceutical and healthcare brands
- building omnichannel content plans aligned to customer journeys, audience needs, and business objectives
- translating complex patient, HCP, caregiver, and access experiences into actionable content strategies
- serving as a strategic advisor to clients and internal teams, balancing business goals, creative excellence, and compliance
- partnering across strategy, creative, account, digital, medical, and regulatory teams to deliver integrated solutions
- setting the standard for content and messaging across digital, web, email, CRM, print, presentations, and integrated campaigns
- guiding teams through MLR review while preserving strategic intent and content effectiveness
- managing multiple brands and workstreams in a fast-paced agency environment
- mentoring and developing content strategists, senior writers, and freelance talent
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10 years of pharmaceutical advertising, healthcare marketing, or medical communications experience
- background as a copywriter with progression into content strategy or creative leadership
- proven expertise in messaging development, content strategy, and omnichannel planning
- deep understanding of patient, HCP, caregiver, access, and support program communications
- strong knowledge of FDA regulations and MLR review processes
- executive presence with the ability to influence clients, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- strong portfolio demonstrating successful healthcare and pharmaceutical content strategy work.
This role is ideal for a content leader who can connect strategy, storytelling, customer experience, and compliance to create meaningful content solutions that drive business results.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
