Our global beauty client is seeking a culturally attuned Community Manager to support one of their fast-growing beauty brands. This role is ideal for a digital storyteller who thrives at the intersection of creativity, community, and culture. You'll be responsible for shaping the brand's social presence through content creation, community engagement, and trend-driven storytelling. This is a hands-on role that requires both strategic thinking and creative execution.

You'll be responsible for shaping the brand's social presence through content creation, community engagement, and trend-driven storytelling. This is a hands-on role that requires both strategic thinking and creative execution.
The Basics
- Duration: Approx. 3.5 months
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM start)
- Location: Hybrid in El Segundo, CA (on-site Tues-Thurs; remote Mon & Fri)
- At least 2-3 years of social media experience, ideally within beauty, fashion, or lifestyle sectors
- Proficiency in short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts), including filming, editing, and appearing on camera
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and trend fluency, with the ability to create culturally relevant, on-brand content
- Skilled in basic editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma)
- Strong writing voice with a human, connected tone
- Highly organized, proactive, and collaborative
- Passionate about skincare, sustainability, and community building
- Experience leading content shoots and working with creators or influencers is a plus
- Develop and produce short-form content aligned with brand campaigns and storytelling goals
- Film, edit, and occasionally appear in social content
- Maintain and contribute to the content calendar
- Lead social-first shoots and collaborate with creators and internal teams
- Write engaging, on-brand copy for captions and community interactions
- Support daily community management and audience engagement
- Monitor trends and share insights and performance recaps
- Partner with influencer and talent teams to integrate creator content into the social strategy
