Our retail client is seeking a Freelance Art Director to support their team on an ongoing basis. This is a highly collaborative role for a creative thinker who excels at bringing brand stories to life through compelling visuals and campaign concepts.
Role Details
- Project-based engagement (20-40 hours per week; hours will fluctuate)
- Open-ended contract
- Hybrid - regular onsite studio work required with remote flexibility for design work
What You'll Do
- Develop and design concept decks for seasonal campaigns and key marketing initiatives
- Translate brand strategy into engaging, visual storytelling
- Lead photo art direction, including creating shot lists, mood boards, and providing on-set guidance as needed
- Partner cross-functionally with creative and marketing teams to execute cohesive campaigns
- Ensure brand consistency across all creative outputs and touchpoints
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of experience in Art Direction, ideally within retail, fashion, or luxury consumer brands
- Strong portfolio showcasing concept development and photoshoot direction
- Proven ability to translate strategy into impactful creative execution
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to balance remote work with onsite studio presence
