Role Description
This is a contract hybrid role for a Social Media Coordinator located in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area, with some flexibility for remote work. The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for creating and curating engaging content across social media platforms, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, responding to audience interactions, and implementing social media marketing strategies to meet client goals. The role also includes analyzing performance metrics and staying up-to-date on trends and best practices in social media to drive growth and engagement.
What you’ll be vibing with:
-Running client's socials
-Write seo worthy captions that stop the scroll post across TikTok, META, LinkedIn, and YouTube
-Design engaging graphics that pop on feeds and stories
-Jump in front of the camera when needed (and hype others up behind it)
-Capture content at events, shoots, and brand activations
-Respond to client and team emails like a pro
What you’ll be cutting, crafting & creating:
-Edit short-form & long-form content on CapCut across TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube, and LinkedIn (bonus if you dabble in Premiere or Final Cut)
-Add captions, music, transitions & creative SFX for viral-ready content
-Repurpose content into graphics, carousels, and story templates
-Build content calendars schedule posts across multiple brand accounts
-Analyze insights recommend optimizations (what’s working, what’s flopping, what to test next)
-Collaborate with content creators, strategists, and designers to bring campaigns to life
-Stay ahead of trends pitch fresh creative ideas
The dream coordinator:
-Fluent in CapCut Canva (bonus: Premiere Pro or Final Cut)
-TikTok trend-spotter and meme lover
-Comfortable on camera directing shoot
-Strong copywriting storytelling skills
-Highly organized (Google Drive wiz, can juggle multiple clients/brands)
-Coachable, curious, and collaborative
The details:
-Contractor Role (30-35 hrs/week)
-Based near or in Columbus, OH
-Paid monthly retainer or hourly (based on experience)
-Must provide a portfolio custom video submission to apply
