Creative ArtReach is seeking caring, reliable, and energetic individuals to join our Creative Crew Support team. This part-time morning role supports Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten students in a nurturing, creative, and structured environment. Working under the guidance of the Creative Captain Site Coordinator, Creative Crew Support members assist in delivering engaging arts-based activities, support classroom routines, and help maintain a safe, welcoming atmosphere for early learners.
This position is ideal for those interested in early childhood education, youth programs, or the arts, and who are eager to make a meaningful impact during the foundational learning years.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Support & Engagement
- Assist with hands-on creative activities in visual arts, music, movement, and storytelling.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students as needed to promote participation and positive behavior.
- Build warm, supportive relationships with young learners and encourage their growth and creativity.
Classroom Operations
- Help with daily classroom setup, cleanup, and preparation of materials.
- Support with snack distribution and other routines that structure the morning.
- Monitor classroom transitions, playtime, and activity rotations with attentiveness and care.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Creative Captain and other team members to ensure smooth classroom flow and consistency.
- Maintain open communication with site leadership about student needs, behaviors, or incidents.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to support program excellence.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience working with children ages 4–6 in school, daycare, camp, or enrichment settings preferred.
- Passion for creative learning, arts education, and early childhood development.
- Patience, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must pass a Live Scan background check and provide a negative TB test (within past 3 years).
- Reliable transportation to assigned school site(s).
- Ability to sit on the floor, lift up to 25 lbs, and actively engage in physical activities with young students.
Work Schedule
- Days: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM–12:30 PM
(Schedule may occasionally vary due to school closures or special events)
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $22.00-$24.00/per hour, based on experience
