Direct Support Professional
Pay: $16.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Flexible shifts Location: In person, Suncoast region
Creating New Solutions LLC provides person-centered services that promote independence, dignity, and community inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We're looking for compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals to join our growing team.
What You'll Do
- Maintain a safe, supportive, positive environment
- Provide individualized support based on each person's Individual Service Plan
- Assist with daily living activities and essential care
- Monitor and document behaviors and progress
- Respond calmly and confidently in crisis situations
Requirements
- 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening and local law check
- Willingness to obtain Medication, CPR, First Aid, HIV/AIDS, Direct Care Core Competencies, Zero Tolerance, and HIPAA certifications
Preferred: CNA or HHA certification (not required)
