Position Description:
The Supportive Living Services Supervisor (SLS) mission is to ensure quality, individualized services to all SLS clients under their supervision. The Supervisor will provide accountability for scheduling, staffing activities, client wellbeing, and assist in team development. The supervisor will also contribute to the process of bringing on new clients to Compass and may be asked to carry their own caseload.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- In shared responsibility with the client and Program Manager/Clinical Director, the Supervisor will develop and maintain a successful program which achieves the client's social, emotional, spiritual, career, and health related goals.
- Assume or assist with the Program Manager/Clinical Director caseload when necessary, which may include the provision of direct support to clients
- The Supervisor will coordinate with all members of the Creating a Legacy, (CALI) team to ensure all Regional Center expectations are met and exceeded.
- The Supervisor will assist the Program Manager/Clinical Director in the development of maintaining modeling and coordinating outside resources, including but not limited to counseling, day programs, IHSS, and Conservatorship.
- The Supervisor will model and maintain regular and professional contact with clients, family members, and support team members.
- The Supervisor will ensure the entire team meets and exceeds regional center's title 17 regulations, requirements, and expectations on reporting, ISP, paperwork and home logs.
- The Supervisor will serve as an ambassador to other clients, clients family members, and conservator while maintaining a balance of individual client needs and CALI as a whole.
- The Supervisor will develop and maintain highly performing SLS teams which adhere to all Creating a Legacy's Inc's (CALI's) policies and procedures.
- The Supervisor will participate in the establishment and direction of current and long range goals, objectives, plans and strategic teams. This includes planning, coordinating, and managing the daily operations of their assigned tasks.
- The Supervisor will generate positive goodwill by professional behavior with all team members.
- The Supervisor will cultivate a learning environment for him/herself and the entire team.
- The Supervisor will uphold and exemplify CALI values as well as policies and procedures to staff, clients, and family members by serving as an ambassador of CALI's cultures, values, mission and vision.
- Other Duties Assigned!
Qualifications and Requirements - Education and/or Experience:
- Supervisory Experience One (1) year minimum (Required)
- One (1) year experience working with Intellectually and/or Developmentally Disabled Adults (Required)
- Must be able to travel through Riverside county and San Bernardino County (Required)
- Flexible Schedule (Preferred)
