About the role:
The Lead Graphic Designer and Digital Illustrator will be responsible to help grow the CreateMe Design Asset Library for Apparel Personalization by producing high-quality original illustrations, imagery, and icons, while overseeing designers, illustrators and/or producers. The Lead should have experience managing others and be comfortable being hands-on when support is needed.

You excel at creating visually appealing designs, that are ultimately used for apparel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help lead the development of a vertically focused Digital Image Asset Library
- Oversee hiring process for core internal creative digital team (Graphic Design, Illustration,)
- Help lead the creation of digital illustrations and graphics, across different drawing styles, with the assistance of the internal team.
- Help in the efforts to design native retail kiosks, mobile, desktop as well as CMS user screens.
- Expanding corporate brand collateral and marketing material.
Requirements:
- 6-8+ years experience in digital design and/or visual design, with at least 2-4 years of experience leading internal and external team members
- 2 years of experience managing designers
- Being a hands-on player on the design team
- Outstanding organization, project management, and team management skills,
- Producing and managing against timelines.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with production and manufacturing teams.
- Have a consistent design language and/or look and feel, as well as coaching such standards with junior team members, when working together on developing designs
- Expert level in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Create pixel perfect, high level visual designs.
- Have a tight portfolio with high level graphic design with proven illustration work.
- Ability to design for touch interfaces, including retail kiosks.
- Background working with image stock and icon libraries.
Bonus skills:
- Experience in digital illustration or digitization and/or experience with related design tool.
- Background in customization for finished goods, apparel and/or accessories (Note: we’ll have product specialists with this knowledge, this is simply an added bonus!)
