Our flagship product, the DreamBox, is a viral, all-in-one solution that combines storage, workspace and organization. At the heart of everything we do is our passionate, creative community.
We’re looking for a Web Manager to step into a critical role at the intersection of technology, sales execution, and site performance on our marketing team.
THE ROLE
The Web Manager owns the day-to-day health, performance, and execution of createroom.com. This role is both strategic and tactical — you’ll help plan and execute promotions, manage technical updates, partner with development and third-party tools, and ensure our site is always ready for launches, traffic spikes, and growth.
This person is the internal expert on how the site works, how promotions are executed, and how changes impact conversion, revenue, and customer experience.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Web Management & Site Operations
- Own overall management and maintenance of the website (Shopify)
- Handle technical edits and light custom code updates as needed
- Ensure site stability, speed and performance at all times
Conversion Rate Optimization
- Own ongoing conversion rate optimization efforts across createroom.com
- Plan, execute, and analyze A/B tests to improve conversion rate, AOV, and attach rates
- Analyze user behavior, funnel performance, and test results to identify opportunities for improvement
Sales Promotion Execution
- Work with marketing team to translate sale strategy into executable site logic
- Prepare site groundwork for launches including shopify theme setup, scripts, discount codes, offer logic
- Execute manual sale launches and takedowns
- Monitor sales data during promotions, providing real-time insights
Development & Project Management
- Prioritize web and development projects in alignment with business goals
- Complete development tasks internally when possible and act as point of contact for outsourced development
- Help expand internal development capabilities and tooling over time
QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Haves
- Strong experience building, managing, and customizing a Shopify store.
- Experience managing complex Shopify promotions, discounts, and pricing logic
- Shopify Technical fluency — able to troubleshoot, edit code, and work with scripts. Fluency in Shopify Liquid code, HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
- Experience coordinating with other developers and third-party vendors
- High attention to detail and ability to work under launch pressure to hit deadlines.
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Data-aware mindset (conversion, attach rates, performance impact)
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets data and reporting skills
- Currently advancing in the AI field and has the ability to immediately inject AI tools and skills into the role
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with high-AOV ecommerce or furniture products
- Familiarity with A/B testing platforms
- Experience with financing integrations (Bread or similar)
- Experience working closely with marketing, sales, and CX teams
- Interest in crafting, DIY, or sewing
