needs of our engineering,fabricationand administrative staff in a busy
and highly technical environment, with an emphasis on quality, accuracy,
timeliness, overall value, and control. This candidate must exercise
sound judgment, effective collaboration with colleagues and
ensureappropriate documentationin the conduct of business
andpurchasingon behalf of[the two firms]{lang="EN-US" contrast="auto"}.
TheSeniorBuyer must adhere to ISO9001/AS9100 compliant departmental and
company policies as well as FAR, DFAR, ITAR and Export Control policies
and procedures to assure all quality and contractual requirements are
carried out in an active environment across a wide diversity of
technologies. Other duties include expediting orders to ensure on-time
delivery,identifyingprimary or alternate sources for materials and
services, obtaining quotations, and negotiating price, terms of payment
and transportation for both domestic and foreign purchases. The Senior
Buyer must also cultivate effective working relationships with vendors,
internal customers, and coworkers, evaluate new suppliers,maintainour
