Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Customer Service Associate, where you'll be the friendly face that welcomes customers and ensures a seamless checkout experience. This role combines efficient cash handling, POS system operation, and exceptional customer service to create a positive environment for all visitors. Responsibilities

• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Manage food service customer orders, ensuring timely preparation and delivery while maintaining food safety standards
• Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change with basic math skills
• Assist customers with inquiries, provide product recommendations, and promote upselling opportunities to enhance sales performance
• Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including food handling areas and cashier stations, adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols
• Support food preparation tasks when needed, including operating kitchen equipment and managing food safety management practices
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed during service to uphold health standards and customer satisfaction

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Proven background in cashiering, retail sales transactions, or food industry roles demonstrating strong cash handling skills
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Experience in food preparation, serving, or operating kitchen equipment is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and create positive interactions with diverse clientele

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
