Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using up to date POS or similar systems.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and promotions to provide informed recommendations.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions.
- Familiarity with food handling practices is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills with attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
