Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a welcoming attitude
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve food, beverages, and cocktails promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Process sales transactions efficiently, handle cash and credit payments accurately, and manage cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and ensuring food safety protocols are followed
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, cocktail options, and menu items to elevate the guest experience
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and sales processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail preparation, and upselling techniques
- Hospitality background with experience in serving guests in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
