Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency with recipes and presentation standards
• Develop creative beverage recipes and suggest pairings to enhance guest experiences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, bar area, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards
• Process cash transactions accurately while managing tabs and processing payments efficiently
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders during busy service periods
• Engage with guests to promote specials, upsell menu items, and gather feedback for continuous improvement
• Manage bar inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist with bar management duties when required
• Uphold all health regulations related to food handling, alcohol service, and sanitation practices

Experience

• Proven experience as a server or bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with cashiering and cash handling procedures
• Extensive cocktail mixing skills with a solid understanding of spirits, wine knowledge, brewing processes, and beverage recipe development
• Experience working in fine dining environments or upscale establishments is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service with a positive attitude in diverse settings such as nightclubs or banquet events
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to billing and inventory management
• Previous experience in hospitality industry roles involving catering or event service is advantageous

Pay: $15.00 - $27.39 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
