Duties

• Safely handle and care for dogs during their daily activities, using proper animal handling techniques.
• Support our guests by monitoring animals’ behavior, feeding schedules, and comfort levels during their stay.
• Conduct dog training activities to promote good behavior and socialization in a safe environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kennels, treatment areas, and equipment to uphold health standards.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding care instructions, exciting options for their pets, and behavioral concerns.
• Previous experience working with animals in veterinary clinics, pet grooming salons, kennels or animal shelters is highly preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for moving supplies or assisting larger animals.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
• Demonstrated commitment to compassionate pet care combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in animal handling. Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
