Requirements:
Student Discipline & Behavior Management
- Oversee all aspects of student discipline, including behavior, dress code, and tardies
- Coordinate and implement disciplinary actions such as detentions, suspensions, and expulsions
- Manage detention scheduling, including vape detention and supervisor assignments
- Collaborate with the Dream Team on academic and behavioral interventions
- Lead and support initiatives such as the Say Something Program and drug testing procedures
Attendance Oversight
- Monitor daily student attendance and ensure accurate reporting
- Implement attendance contracts and enforce consequences for policy violations
- Coordinate prosecutor referrals and maintain communication with DCS
- Complete PAR documentation for case conferences
- Determine summer school and alternative education placements
School Operations & Student Activities
- Review and approve new club requests
- Coordinate special events and themed weeks (e.g., Culture Night, Homecoming, Snowcoming, Senior Activities)
- Maintain and update the student handbook
- Collaborate closely with the School Resource Officer on student-related concerns
Academic Support & Testing
- Support curriculum, testing, and enrollment processes
- Assist with iLearn Biology testing administration
- Manage student withdrawals and enrollment as needed
- Coordinate PSAT/SAT testing and preparation efforts
Staff Support & Supervision
- Assist the principal with licensed social worker (LSW) coordination as needed
- Supervise and support staff, including teacher assistants and office personnel
- Conduct staff evaluations and oversee substitute teacher coordination
- Facilitate daily staff check-ins and provide necessary resources
Student Supervision & School Climate
- Supervise students throughout the school day, including before/after school, lunch, and passing periods
- Create and manage supervision schedules
- Supervise major school events, including sporting events, convocations, honor nights, and extracurricular activities
Graduation & Recognition Programs
- Serve as primary facilitator for graduation ceremonies
- Coordinate and introduce the valedictorian and the salutatorian
Committees & Student Leadership
- Lead and support student leadership programs such as Link Crew, Dream Team, and Spirit Club
- Participate in building leadership teams and committees
- Oversee NHS selection process and student leadership development initiatives
Certification Requirements:
Candidates should be a licensed School Administrator
