Role Description
This is a full-time Associate Attorney position based in Columbia, SC. Responsibilities include providing legal counsel, conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, representing clients in negotiations, and appearing in court for hearings or trials. The Associate Attorney will collaborate with senior attorneys and other legal professionals to deliver high-quality service to our clients.
Qualifications
- Aptitude in providing accurate Legal Advice and strategizing solutions for client needs
- Strong Research and analytical skills to prepare for cases and advise clients effectively
- Effective Negotiation skills for resolving disputes and achieving favorable outcomes
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently
- Admission to the state bar in South Carolina
- Previous experience in creditors’ rights, landlord-tenant law, or litigation is preferred
