Position Summary
The Workers’ Compensation Associate Attorney will manage a dynamic caseload while providing high-quality legal representation in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This role is ideal for a motivated attorney with strong litigation skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding client service.
Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of approximately 150 workers’ compensation cases. Draft and submit settlement demands with appropriate supporting documentation. Negotiate claims with opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and other stakeholders. Respond to discovery requests accurately and within required deadlines. Conduct depositions of clients, witnesses, and expert parties. Represent clients in hearings, motions, and other court proceedings. Maintain consistent and clear communication with clients regarding case status and strategy. Collaborate with internal team members to ensure efficient case progression. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school. Active membership in good standing with the Georgia Bar (required). 0–3 years of workers’ compensation experience. Bachelor’s degree required. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team. Highly organized with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency with legal technology in a paperless environment. Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle confidential information. Preferred Skills & Attributes Self-starter with strong initiative and independent thinking. Professional, motivated, and detail-oriented. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong commitment to client service and achieving favorable outcomes.
